After having received his graduate degree at the Luigi Bocconi University of Milan, Stefano worked in different management roles in private and public sector institutions in Milan, Barcelona, London and New York, including Deutsche Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), mainly focusing on governance, compliance and risk management matters.

As Senior Management Analyst at the United Nations, located in the Office of the Under-Secretary-General for Management, he is currently responsible for coordinating the global efforts of the Organization towards the adoption and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Internal Control framework across the entire range of its mandates and activities.
